To be continued...
In the next article, I'll show you some of the techniques I've come to depend on using the individual Render Buffers! It's so much more enjoyable to get real-time updates with the flick of a slider than to wait... and wait, while a frame (or scene) re-renders.

NOTE:
If you're new to the LightWave community, Flay.com has a huge, searchable database of plug-ins and tools that can point you where you can find all sorts of neat things both commercial and free!

ExrTrader (commercial) can be found here: www.exrtrader.com/
D-Storm's Buffer Saver (free) can be found here:www.dstorm.co.jp/english/plugin/layout.htm#BufferSaver2
the GIMP (free – "GNU Image Manipulation Program) can be found here:www.gimp.org/
Cinepaint (free) can be found here:www.cinepaint.org/
Fusion (commercial) can be found here:www.eyeonline.com

In the meanwhile, take a walk through LW's buffers yourself, using exrTrader, LW's Photoshop Export, D-Storm's Buffer Saver or the like! Play with re-combining what you find using packages like Fusion, the GIMP, or Cinepaint!

See ya soon!
