Really amazing work. No crits whatsoever.

Too tired to think of something clever to write here.
Amazing work. Very impressive. Congrats man.
Very well done!
I think it could be graded to look more like the original but it's a great copy as it is.
Just looking at it again, does the figure in the middle have a slight squint? His left eye looks a little boss- I could be wrong.
Check out the dramatic lighting in the original....
There's like a spotlight/glow around the people.
Definitely an important part of the original composition.

"Somewhere... over the rainbow..."
True that Greg, plus there is some color/tonal variants from the original. That being said 'if' I were going to do anything more to this piece I would indeed add the spotlighting on. It would give it a different view and almost story but would be closer to the original. But who said this has to match perfectly? I kinda like the flatness of the image. That coming from a person that normally loves contrasty images.

simply jaw dropping !!
congratulation for teh very well deserved front row !! :-)
Quite stunning. I would love to see the base render (pre post Photoshop) just to see how much post you did.
You live in Florence... you lucky man.
Great work!)
awesome!
I am not too sure about the folds in the standing inquisitors cloths (they look a tad to extreme). Otherwise I think it is awesome!
Great work. I really love it !
1 polygon a day keeps the doctor away
Good heavens! I didn't expect the Roman Inquisition!![]()
Refreshingly good. I haven't seen the original, but one thing I would critique in the render is Galileo's eye direction. It seems too high to meet the inquisitors', and too low for the crucifix. But the whole is excellent!
God's Word is pure!

This render single-handedly upped the classiness of SpinQuad by an order of magnitude!!
Bravo, sirrah, bravo!
