    'After the rain'

    modo, LightWave-3D, ZBrush

    Hi all,

This is my latest render of the Camel Series...
It's the time after the desert rain, camels start drinking again to live.....

    Hope you enjoy..

    Well Done

    It is absolutely superb !

It is almost as if the elements of the scene come to life. Hope you don't mind, but I have a few questions:

    1. How did you make the water look so nice ?
    2. Are the lights from the clouds volumetric, or is it just an image map ?
If it is an image map, how did you made it blend with the rest of the environment so well ?

This image is like a statement of what Lightwave can do...

    Well done,
    Flow

Great job! But I think it looks a bit as a "tilt shift" photograph, may be te DOF

You model/texture and render the best camels of the world Incredible hair and skin.

I love this image... so much eye candy.... especially nice thouch with the stone pebbles.... they make the environment pop out like it's almost tangible. I'm really interested in how you manage such clean and detailed but still designerstrong sculpts. Any special techniques you use or is it just pure mad skillz ?

Super nice! The DOF in the first render almost makes look like a miniature to me for some reason... The shadowing on the left seems a little dark... Really incredible work!!!

BTW, what did you use for the fur?
