Setup is fast and renders are even faster....here are two more tests.

Now that is great render style is this animatable as well, think that would be awsome looking animated![]()
I plan to write a tutorial on this technique if there is enough interest....We are using this technique in the current animated short the Dave School students are making that is a 5 minute 3D Anime film.![]()

Hey proton i'm guessing this neon thing has something to do with ?glow?..just a guess but i'm not so sure about the rest hehe...but it'll be sweet if u put up a Tut on it..i would love to play around with it..its looks great

My inital impression was that it's done with Surface Borders in the Edge panel. Not sure how one would achieve the glow effect with that though. The one render looks like a combo of surface borders and 2 point polys.
Very intriguing William. Please do post a tute at some time. This is a wonderful effect.

I noticed in the qt movies taht the models aren't transparent. Could their color be changed and still get the neon effect on top of it? That would be really cool. I loved tron. Does it involve Two point polys?![]()
To me it looks like it is made up of two point polylines from selected points in the geometry.
I'm still on schedule for world domination!
