    Neon Art

I'm playing with a new technique and here are a few images that have come from it. Straight render from LightWave, no post work...

I plan to write a tutorial on this technique if there is enough interest....We are using this technique in the current animated short the Dave School students are making that is a 5 minute 3D Anime film.

My inital impression was that it's done with Surface Borders in the Edge panel. Not sure how one would achieve the glow effect with that though. The one render looks like a combo of surface borders and 2 point polys.

I'd love to see a tutorial as well.
I noticed in the qt movies taht the models aren't transparent. Could their color be changed and still get the neon effect on top of it? That would be really cool. I loved tron. Does it involve Two point polys?

    Re: Neon Art

To me it looks like it is made up of two point polylines from selected points in the geometry.
I'm still on schedule for world domination!
