SQ – Tell us a little bit about yourself, when did art and computers become part of your life? I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I’ve been interested in Art since I can remember. The first time I saw a comic book I wanted to draw like that. My interest in computer art came later in the nineties.

SQ – Tell us about your background in 3D or 2D? I started doing 2D Animation in Rio de Janeiro Federal University's School of Fine Arts in 1987. After I left the University I began working as a freelance Illustrator and water colorist until 1995, when I began working as an Animator in a big studio here in Rio. In 1997 the animation division of the studio was closed and I was invited to be Art Director for a publisher. When Lightwave was ported to Macintosh, I felt like going back to Animation and built a home studio. I continued doing Illustrations and 2D Animation for different media until I learned Lightwave enough to start working with CG. I came to TV Globo in 2004.
