SQ – What are some projects that you have worked on recently? TV ads (Clinton cards), animated series pilots, (Mr. macaroni) and (Fulking Hill). Others include music videos (Gorrillaz feel good inc). I'm also working on several short films, two of which are now finished and one that's in the concept stage.

SQ – What tools do you use? Lightwave, After effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and I've just started playing with some match moving software.

SQ - What do you like best about Lightwave? Well 9.2 is an amazing leap forward. I'm having a lot of fun rendering out animated sequences with radiosity which just wasn't feasible a few years ago due to the large render times. The modelers always been the best for me too.

SQ - Does Lightwave fulfill all your needs or do you feel something’s could be added or improved on? The animation side, for me, needs vast improvements. Some of the other big packages seem to have more intuitive tools. I think all the Worley plugs should be built into Lightwave also allowing them to work better together.

SQ - What about a pipeline? Does Lightwave help to keep it streamlined? Absolutely. Everythings so fast and easy to work with. You can get great results in no time at all. Especially with things like FPrime which really speed up lighting large scenes.
