Jamie Clark also known as Imatk here on Spin Quad enjoys making gross anatomy and many other awesome 3d FX as Staff Artist
at Zoic Studios where he works. Recently he finished his demo reel and showed us the amazing work he does at home as well
as at Zoic. It was my pleasure to speak with Jamie about his beginnings, the industry, where he see's himself in the future
and many questions about his reel.

SQ –Let’s start off with a little info, tell us who you are and how you became interested in 3D? I'm a staff artist at Zoic Studios. I work on various television shows, commercials and film. My last work was on the film "The Invasion" starring Nicole Kidman
and Daniel Craig. I became interested in 3d around 1999 when I was designing web sites and a lot of my clients started to want 3d on the sites. I started out with Bryce 3d
because it was simple, and from there moved on to 3d Studio Max, I think it was Studio R3 then... and then finally Lightwave.

SQ - The Invasion release date is August 17 2007. Did you get to do a lot of texturing and lighting of the extraterrestrials? So that when we go to see the movie we can say, "Thats Jamies work, he uses Lightwave."
I can't really talk about the Invasion work as it hasn't been released in theaters yet. But go see it... I'm going to :)

SQ - Tell us about working for Zoic Studios? Being a staff artist are you asked for input for a scene or effect?Zoic is a great place to work. There are a lot of talented artists here and I feel very fortunate to work with them. I am asked my input for scenes and shots, but
the great thing about Zoic is there isn't an elitist attitude here. We ask everyone for their input if they are involved with the show. Everyone's opinion
is heard and that's one of the wonderful things about working here.
