The event includes four days of informative and inspiring creative sessions:

Day one starts off in Santa Fe with our exciting new exporience planet•motion. It's a game, it's an animation festival, it's an exporience! planet•motion is your ticket to fun, cash and prizes!
planet•motion consists of presentations, demos, exhibits, animation festival viewings - and planet•motion 'challenges'. Your goal – to accumulate points throughout the day. At the end of the day, playbooks are turned in to be scored. The five participants with the highest scores will advanced to the finalist round, which takes place Monday evening at the 2008 motionawards.

Monday morning you'll board our luxury coaches as you're transported back to ABQ for the remainder of your stay at the newly renovated ABQ Hyatt Regency downtown. When you arrive, you'll start your day at motion{u} - a full-day training with the pros in the track of your choice. That evening we kick off motion08 with our opening keynote extravaganza and the annual motionawards - celebrating the best in animation and motion graphics.
Tuesday and Wednesday are packed solid with keynotes, sessions and panels. Learn and be inspired by the pros in the industry, including After Effects gurus Chris & Trish Meyer, motion picture screen designer Mark Coleran, ABC's Slacker Cats animation genius Stanton Cruse, and VFX artist Alex Lindsay.
As a special treat – since you'll be arriving in Santa Fe Saturday, we've made arrangements for a showing of the full-length animated feature, Romeo & Juliet: Sealed with a Kiss at Santa Fe's new arts and technology venue: sfCOMPLEX. Animator and creator Phil Nibbelink will be on hand to answer questions - or sign autographs! While you're at sfCOMPLEX, check out the mixed media show entitled Emergence: The Interaction of Science & Art - it's art like you have never seen before!
